We arrived at Sansei at opening time and were seated right away. Other than the sushi and the sake, that was the best part of the evening. The table was cluttered with miscellaneous silver ware and plates- and though this sounds trivial, this is a nightmare when dining out with three young children as everything becomes a toy.
The server was very nice, but brought everything from appetizers to entrees to sushi rolls out at the same time, which didn't help the table situation. The kid's menu was limited and expensive, though the Ramen noodles were a hit. :-)
Overall, this restaurant would have been better had it cost 2/3 of what it did or if hubby and I had been eating there alone. However, given the tab and the nonstop damage control we did the entire hour we were there, it just wasn't worth it.
I would absolutely recommend Sansei to people traveling without and under 6 crowd in tow...but if babies are in your party, there are a number of other places to go that allow for a little more "elbow room".
