“Best Coconut Shrimp!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2010

This place is located in an industrial area of Kihie with very little curb appeal but they carry fresh fish and also offer a lunch menu that is excellent. I have had coconut shrimp in the finest restaurants throughout Hawaii and Eskimo Candy serves up the best, by far!

“Great place to get Fish to Grill”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2010

We randomly found this with Google search, it appears to be a hidden gem of a local fish market. We got delicious Ono and other fish to bring back and grill at our condo. They also serve food like a restaurant, the prices were reasonable and the food looked good. We liked it so much we went back but it was closed, be sure to call to find out the hours, it seemed a bit random. Delicious fish at great value.

“This is the best place to get fresh fish and chips in south Maui.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2010

A casual carry out with a few tables inside and a few more picnic tables outside. Located on a side street in a light industrial/residential neighborhood, they are a local fish distributor as well as restaurant. Limited hours, open till seven during the week, closed weekends, this place is worth seeking out. Fresh fish selections vary but may include mahi mahi, ono and opakapaka. They have great home made poke, seafood chowder, fish and chips with slaw, fresh fish sandwich and several other preparations as well as local beef hamburgers. Prices are very reasonable. You will find yourself returning again and again for their fresh locally caught fish.

“Hidden gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2010

This place is a little off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find. We had a soup on our one visit and will be back when we visit next. While we ate customers were coming in to buy fish to grill back at the condo. We did get one meal for takeout and it was wonderful. Both of the customers who were there were repeat locals and endorsed the food and fresh fish. I learned a thing or two about the varieties of seafood and look forward to my next visit to Maui.

“HYPE!! Don't waste your money”

we just got through eating here and overall it wasn't great. The fish and chip was mushy. It didn't taste very good. on the other hand the seafood chowder was very good.
