My wife and I spent 11 wonderful days in the villa. It is equiped with everything we needed such as full kitchen, washer/dryer, and equipment for the beach. The beach, shopping, and sightseeing is all close by but the villa is on private property away from the noise and bustle of Kihei. Rick was a wonderful guide to the best deals for eating and sightseeing. We had fresh pineapple, fruit and healthy snacks waiting for us daily. A better host we couldn't ask for. This was our third visit to Maui having stayed in Lahaina and Kihei in condo's before. Eva Villa will definately be at the top of our list for a return to Maui.

Room Tip: The villa is a private bungalow and well worth the stay. The rooms around the pool appeared very acc...

Villa eva is the perfect place to stay on the beautiful island Maui. The Owner-Couple Rick and Dale is so lovley and they threat the guest, the garden and the house very well. The rooms are in best conditions and furnished with love for the detail. I felt really comfortable and enjoyed my time almost alone around the pool. The place is perfect, because of the location, it is really quiet, you hear nothing, but also near from Kihei (5 min. by car) and the nice beaches. Deceide for Villa Eva, and you will never regret and will have an unforgetable time on Maui.

Even with B & B's that we enjoyed, we rarely find the actual experience lives up to the rosy description in the ad or website. Eva Villa is an exception and far exceeded our high expectations. The poolside suite was spacious with perfect living arrangements for our family of four. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the accomodations were clean and well-maintained, the pool and jacuzzi were appealing, the location was perfect and the breakfast (simple and left in the fridge the night before) was just right for our unpredictable schedule. We'll be back!

We stayed in the villa. It is gorgeous, sparkling clean, beautifully appointed and with every amenity you could want. Dale and Rick are wonderful hosts, friendly and willing to help but completely unobtrusive if you want privacy. The pool and hot tub are clean and refreshing. The location can't be beat -- our favorite beach was just minutes away, as well as Kihei's surfing and SUP beach. We arrived from upcountry grimy and dusty from hiking, and were greeted by a refrigerator full of delicious local fruit, bagels, and other goodies and that luscious pool! Rick gave us an orientation to Kihei with favorite beaches, good food (eat the poke at Foodland -- seriously, it is really good) and places to visit. One of the nicest places I've stayed in all my travels. We loved it. Thanks!!

I have reviewed Eva Villa on a couple of occasions previously, but this year, at Rick's recommendation, I had a massage with Eddie Palone, who set up right in our cottage. This guy is amazing - I mean I've had LOTS of massages in my day, but this guy is outstanding. He only charges $60/hr. - I personally think he's worth alot more. Ask Rick for Eddie's phone number if you're in the market for a massage.
Okay, back to Eva Villa - as usual we stayed in the cottage, and it was clean, and comfy as always. Rick made sure we were happy at all times, making us feel special by providing little "extras". Both Rick and Dale go the extra mile for their visitors. We honestly feel that this is the best B & B in the Kihei/Wailea area.

Room Tip: The cottage is set apart from the main house - it is not part of the B&B, but rather classified...

We arrived after 10 days in a lovely, but VERY tiny, "studio" at the base of Diamond Head just beyond Waikiki. At Eva Villa we would have "another studio." But, What a Studio!!! It is large, with the pool and spa pool just outside our patio doors. Never saw any of the "other guests" altho there could possibly be a total of 6. Each of the four full days we were there we had the pool & spa pool to ourselves. The furnishings are attractive, the kitchen had all we needed and more, and having a "real refrigerator" was a splendid treat after 10 days with only a wine chiller "refrig." Dale gave us "real time info" on places to eat, swim, visit, inc. directions. BTW, of the 4 places we stayed on Oahu & Maui, Rick and Dale FOR SURE gave us the most complete activities & rec. restaurant listing BEFORE we even left home! We appreciated that!! Rick is a very fine host; a charming man, ooozing "aloha" & humor. We would love to come back to stay a week or more instead of the quite rushed time we had of 4 days on West Maui, if for no other reason than for both DH & me to "smooze" with Rick!! I cannot imagine how anyone could be unhappy here!! It is a very attractive location w/ lovely plantings/landscaping; you can't help but smile here! And the variety of lovely fruit/breads/etc.each morning were a wonderful way to start each day.

Room Tip: We would prefer either of the 2 options that front on the pool & spa pool. The studio is spaciou...

We had left booking our last 2 nights on Maui to the last minute and managed to pick up a cancellation at Eva Villa. I wish we had used it as a base for our 4 nights on Maui. Rick was an excellent host, we appreciated the snorkling gear and the maps in the room. It was a lovely to get away from the touristy shoreline. Would recommend it to people who are keen to explore all day but like to chill out after a dinner out.
