“My fave breakfast in Maui!”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

This is my favorite spot for breakfast. Been going here for years and years! Always delicious. Always fresh. Busy so might be a wait for a table. It's order at the counter style, then go watch for a table to open up. By far the best macadamia nut pancakes and coconut syrup! You won't be sorry....everything is delicious!?

“Great Food”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

If you want to eat hearty, this is the place. Quirky little place open for breakfast & lunch only. We ate there twice, itwas packed & drove by several times & it was packed. Try the Loco Moco or breakfast burrito...actually it was all good. Decent price also

“Food poisening”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

We ate breakfast at Keihe Cafe on Jan 17th. My husband got severe food poisening within a few hours from a bad egg that he was served there. When we called the manager to report the incident, she was more interested in denial and finding fault with other sources rather than learning more about my husbands problem. We felt they would want to know about it in case they had reports from other patrons, but her response was that it takes 24 hours for food poisening to occur. Any medical research will confirm that it can occur much sooner than that. As the manager of a restaurant, she didn't seem to have a clear understanding of how quickly food poisening can develope.

“Loved the Papaya delight”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

Best breakfast in Maui for us. We went there twice and both time the food was amazing. My husband had the sausage gravy and biscuits and the I had the Papaya delight. They were both really good and coffee was excellent. The service was fast, the prices were cheap.

We are sure to go this place everything we visit Maui.

“Very disappointing, stodgy food, wouldn't return”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

We thought Kihei Caffe was a good place to go for breakfast, we'd read the reviews, knew what to expect but we were in for a few surprises. The biggest surprise being the $4.00 freshly squeezed orange juice, all less than a 200mL or one cup size of it! They gotta be kidding! Also the fresh fruit salad at $11.95 a portion - didn't fall for that one! The 2 English Breakfasts we ordered were so-so: cold, greasy re-fried, over-cooked potatoes, 2 small fried eggs and 2 strips of very over-cooked bacon - not good value! The biscuits were stodgy and unappetizing. What struck me most was the amount of food most other diners were leaving on their plates: mounds of uneaten pancakes, loads of biscuits covered in some sort of thick sauce, such a shame and such a terrible waste! Kihei Caffe must've been having a very bad morning in the kitchen, or have lost their quality control trying to keep up with demand. Wouldn't go back here, or recommend it to anyone!
