Had a terrible time finding a 1 week timeshare "swap" into Kihei for this past February, using my Kauai banked unit. Finally, in desperation, I booked this "Inn". Sure not what the pictures on their website indicated. I guess the two most disturbing things were, #1. My credit card was charged for the full week upon CHECK-IN? #2. There were no dressers in the bedroom to put clothes. So, we lived out of our suitcases on the floor for the whole week. The "kitchen" was serviceable, but certainly not what I am used too when cooking dinner. The lanai (balcony) was a joke in the sense the owners wrapped palm fronds around the railings (up & down), I guess for privacy, which constantly broke off and littered the lanai. What fun in your bare feet.
Sorry to ramble, but I'd think twice, or more about spending $750/week here!

Management response:Responded August 29, 2005

The Inn at Sugar Beach has dressers in every bedroom of every suite, the kitchen is equipped with brand new major appliances, small appliances, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Balcony has new outdoor carpet and patio furniture. Our payment policy is standard for our small hotel industry.
