The deli at the Fairmont is a great place for coffee and breakfast and for snacks during the day. It does allow for a break from having to walk to the local shops or eat at the restaurants within the hotel. The service was great and the coffee was good. It opened late which made it even more convenient. It works as a good alternative to paying for the buffet breakfast.

The only highlight of this place is the convenience of having something quick within the Fairmont property. There is no choices of what to choose from when it comes to sandwiches and salads. At first we thought that it was great that they had this "Deli" on premises but once we went in to explore we where completely turned off by there lack of options of prepared food and by the so so service by the staff. I will probably stick to In-Room Dining even though they charge that "delivery fee".

When staying at the Kea Lani, this place was a lifesaver. Very conveniently located on the terrace level of the resort next to the adult pool. They are open till 10pm (I think it was), we ate here many times as it was a bit cheaper (that is subjective) than eating at the other restaurants at the resort. They have pastries, specialty coffees (the peanut butter mocha was weird but in a good way), pizza, burgers, salads, ice cream, drinks, etc. They also have a little shop that you can buy cups, teas, coffees, wines, other kinds of alcohols, and chips and sweets, magazines, medicines, and laundry detergent. One memorable thing was the we told the worker that we were headed to the Haleakala Crater for the day and he suggested sandwiches that would make the drive and not be bad by the time we reached the summit, he then cut the sandwiches, labeled them, and packed them via picnic style for us. Very cool! Overall, this place was great.

We were staying at the Fairmont, right upstairs from Caffe Caio, so it was very convenient. We picked up lots of breakfasts here, as well as some snacks and desserts. Nice alternative, but it does get very busy around meal times, which is worse if you're ordering something that's not in the prepared foods case. I personally loved their tropical fruit granola parfaits and could have had one every day. Delicious! And if you don't see them in the refrigerated case, ask someone behind the counter. I went later in the day once and was all ready to be disappointed until I asked about them and the employee pulled one out from behind the counter. My kids also got some tasty desserts, but once or twice we got there after they closed at 9 pm, so watch the time.
