We went here on a recommendation from a local Maui resident. It is tucked away in front of the Days Inn but don't let that dissuade you. The beachfront views are great! We went with two other couples and some of us wanted Italian and some wanted Maui seafood. This was a great compromise because Sarento's has both. I had the skillet chicken which was cooked to perfection. It had prosciutto and cheese in it but not too much, just right. My wife had the clams and linguine, again very good and flavorful. Others had the Kobe meatball spaghetti, the porcini rubbed grilled ahi, etc. Even better than the food was the service! This is the kind of place where the water glass never gets to half capacity before someone is refilling it. We were staying in Wailea at the Fairmont so the drive was a quick one, under 3 miles or so. Would definitely go again.
