I gave this a 3 star rating because of it's great WALKING location to the beaches of Kihei, shopping, night life, it fit our needs perfectly, as we were up and at it early, and it is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit, pretty recently remodeled. The owner was easily contacted for questions. However, if you are looking for a very quiet location or expect 4 star hotel services, this is not the place for you. This is a condo/apartment complex, with a mix of permanent residences and vacation rentals, so expect people getting up and going to work at 5 and 6 in the morning, and the noise that comes with that. The owner provided boogie boards, beach towels, some snorkel gear, ice chests, and beach chairs. If you are coming with a family and kids, this is a great spot. If you want total quiet and a large Lanai, not a good spot. Nice pool area with BBQ's you can reserve. Again, great family spot, easy beach and town access by foot, not very quiet. If you are going to Maui to be out and about, and not sleep in till noon, this is perfect. Great place for a family with kids, or active adults. Nice kitchen, 3 full baths, nice living area with widescreen TV. Kim was a great host, we actually looked at a couple of listings in the complex for future investment. The complex is moving from permanent residents to transient (vacation) rentals. They are working hard on the place, this will be a great VR location in the future.
