This is our favorite restaurant on Maui. The place is funky but the food is beyond excellent. The fish is fished fresh daily. Thus it may not be the same form one day to the next. The seared Ahi Tuna is probably the best we have ever had anywhere. The place is more like a take-out with tables (some would call it a "greasy spoon", but oh so good). One night, as a group of 6 friends, we decided to celebrate; so we brought our table cloth (the oil cloth of the tables is not really high style -- but it is clean), real silverware and nice stem wine glasses. That gave our dinner the class we wanted. The restaurant did not have the bottle of Pinot Grigio we wanted on ice but we managed to have a fabulous dinner celebration. The pita, which gives its name to the place is delicious, warm and tasty. We stayed 10 days in Maui and ate dinner here 6 times.
