“Fabulous and relaxed”
Reviewed February 12, 2014

This is our favorite restaurant on Maui. The place is funky but the food is beyond excellent. The fish is fished fresh daily. Thus it may not be the same form one day to the next. The seared Ahi Tuna is probably the best we have ever had anywhere. The place is more like a take-out with tables (some would call it a "greasy spoon", but oh so good). One night, as a group of 6 friends, we decided to celebrate; so we brought our table cloth (the oil cloth of the tables is not really high style -- but it is clean), real silverware and nice stem wine glasses. That gave our dinner the class we wanted. The restaurant did not have the bottle of Pinot Grigio we wanted on ice but we managed to have a fabulous dinner celebration. The pita, which gives its name to the place is delicious, warm and tasty. We stayed 10 days in Maui and ate dinner here 6 times.

“You have to try the fish”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

Most restaurants claim they have fresh fish but the owner of this place catches his daily fish special every morning himself. Why didn't i think of that.

“Had better.”
Reviewed January 27, 2014

The atmosphere is lovely, but on a hot day not so much. Tried the lamb and the meat was dry and overcooked. Service was adequate, but food is pricey for what you get. I'll keep searching.

“So wonderful!”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

This place is wonderful! The food is fresh and delicious. The owner catches the fish fresh every day and you can tell when you eat it. We ate here 2 times in 5 days because we couldn't get enough! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The courtyard is very nice with a waterfall. Highly recommend this!

“Great food and service”
Reviewed January 17, 2014

We shared the appetizer plate and a Mediterranean chicken pita, and it was _good_; the tzatziki was really good and I'm usually not a big fan. The baklava ice cream cake was super good albeit too large of a portion (they do charge like $7 bucks for it)
