We had a loco-moco, hawaiian and kalua pork. I especially liked their macaroni salad.

The food was very good. The portions huge and the price well within reason (about $13/person). We'll go back and to take-out again (too busy and crowded to dine in).

Staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Hit this first thing off the plane and last thing before you get back on the plane. Huge portions and super cheap (for Maui) - remember $12 - $14 for a plate lunch here is doing pretty good (if you can spend $25 for two for b/fast or lunch, consider it cheap). Anyway, we hit this before we left and ate a big meal before getting on the plane for our 6 1/2 hr trip. I had the traditional loco moco lunch plate and it was gravy, awesome. Too much for me to eat at once. Will go back for sure!

The Hawaiian plate with laulau, da pig.. any of the other dishes.. all good, cheap, clean, locals love this place and for good reason.. nothing bad about this experience.. except that you can get fat really quick. Brown rice might be an alternative.. and something green instead of mac salad.. even a piece of fruit with so many local fruits.. but who am I to judge.. just eat and be happy.. easy can share a plate..

Clean efficient eatery but be prepared to wait for a table. Best spam wusubi ever! Chicken katsu is another not to miss dish. Next time I'll have to have the corn chowder with crab meat!

bigger is not better when it is so laced with salt and the fries are the cheapest mush you can buy. food is served in styrofoam box. No lettuce tomatoe, just all around bad.
