We pulled up to the building which is located on a very busy, noisy street. We all had the same thought. We figured, this can't be it. It was an older looking high rise building that looked in need of help. We went to our unit 409 and were just as dissapointed. The rooms were small and in need of renovation. The air conditioner was barely able to cool the place. We went on the lanai and noticed a very small beach. We checked out the pool and were not impressed. With all the great places in Maui, why were we here? The final thing was we spotted mold on the wall and at that point we realized we could not stay here and searched for another place.
We were lucky and found a nice place in Kaanapali Beach which was not much more in cost and no comparison to the Kihei Beach resort.
I would not advise anyone to stay here unless they were desperate. Staying here gives one a bad impression of Maui.
