Directly across the street from the Kamaole Sands condos. This is a beautiful park with a great beach. Great place to get sunset pictures!

This was our grandboys' favorite beach that we visited. It was shallower so the surf was more gentle. There are lifeguards present, and a nice long beach to stroll on. Parking was a little more challenging than at Kamaole Beach Park I, but we got there early both days and no problem Easy to walk across the street for lunch, also. Water was fabulous!!

Beach III is smaller and less crowded than beaches I & II. It also offers some of the best snorkeling, which is just a short distance out from the beach. If you’re not a strong swimmer; if you have smaller children with you; or if you don’t have a lot of time, then this might be your best spot to snorkel as the the rock formation is just to the right, as you’re facing the ocean. On every occasion, I see green sea turtles, yellow tangs, convict tangs, humus, coronets, trumpets, puffers, and I’ve often seen a spotted eagle ray . . . . absolutely breathtaking and relaxing. Also, I don’t recommend walking on top of the rock formation jutting out of the water. I’ve seen many accidents, including bloody knees & broken noses. Although it looks fairly innocuous, it is volcanic formations that have been shaped by years of wind and water, hence, extremely jagged. There are life-guards, and this is also a great spot to watch the sun set. Lastly, there are public restrooms and outdoor showers to rid yourself of excess sand, and parking is available as well, but try to get there early in the a.m. so that you’re not driving around to locate other public parking.

Nice waves for body surfing. Sandy beach. Few rocks in the water. Clean restrooms. One of the nicer beaches in Kihei. The only downside is that it is not protected from the trade winds, which pick up in the late morning/afternoon. Visit the beach early.

Best variety of fish and beautiful, colorful coral! Like swimming in the aquarium!!! This is a great family beach with lots of shady areas too.
