Description: Recently featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Chefs. Surfers. Friends. Travis Morrin, Cody Christopher, and Jaron Blosser discovered they share a fanatic enthusiasm for surf while working together at a top local restaurant six years ago. While surfing together around Maui they dreamt up the idea to start their own catering business using their regarded culinary school training and experience so they could surf whenever they wanted. Three's Catering was launched in 2009 using a rented warehouse and their old trucks. In a few short months, their unexpected success had them looking for permanent kitchen space, and they opened a restaurant in the current Three's Bar & Grill location in Kihei's Kalama Village where their menu has evolved incorporating the three chefs' three cuisines - Hawaiian, Southwestern and Pacific Rim. Three's is all about great food with locally sourced ingredients, creating memories, and the casual island lifestyle that these friends enjoy everyday.

Food was great. Service was good. I recommend eating on the patio. A real chill spot. Had breakfast, and it was great! Try the pineapple guava mimosa. It was good!

My husband and I were looking for a place for dinner while out browsing Maui and stopped here because we liked the menu posted. We had been out most of the day and were dressed in tshirts and shorts. We like most tourist had been in a convertible or jeep so I had worn a baseball cap. However this a vacationing island and this is not a five star establishment by any means. There is a VERY large screen TV playing sports in the middle of the restaurant. The hostess greeted us with a let me see if we have a table, clearly there were five tables on the patio open and one horrible table in front of the door and in front of the television. She sat us at this table without asking is this OK, would you like to dine outside. Just plop down our menus and walk away. It was as if here you go and we aren't sure why you are here. We have never been made to feel so unwelcome in any establishment we have ever attempted to dine at. We sat for about 10 minutes, no one ever approached our table so we left. Important lesson here, never judge a book by its cover. We went to another place for dinner, received excellent service, left a hefty tip and continued on with our vacation. I do hope this place learns to treat everyone with respect, as with this attitude, they will swirl down quickly.

Atmosphere was beautiful. We sat outside and there was a guitar player singing Hawaiian tunes. The food was AMAZING. The service was great as they suggested some good recommendations. Reservations is highly recommended because it fills up fast, that is a testament to how well the place is.

we came because we saw a really nice add in the Maui publication. sounded like a fun place to go for our last night on the island. we made reservations for 5. when we arrived we waited a few minutes before being acknowledged, we told them we had reservations and they brought us to the left and sat outside on a patio facing a tattoo parlor. I mentioned on my reservation we were celebrating our 30th anniversary, when we left we noticed to the right a lovely patio with live music, that would have been a much nicer place to sit had we known NOT to make reservations. The scene is casual. The coconut shrimp appetizer was good but the entrees were not good.strange seasonings and overcooked fish and chicken. we were sorry we made this choice for a special occasion. The happy hour was decent, so go for that and ask to sit where the music is and don't order food!
