Description: Chefs. Surfers. Friends. Travis Morrin, Cody Christopher, and Jaron Blosser discovered they share a fanatic enthusiasm for surf while working together at a top local restaurant six years ago. While surfing together around Maui they dreamt up the idea to start their own catering business using their regarded culinary school training and experience so they could surf whenever they wanted. Three's Catering was launched in 2009 using a rented warehouse and their old trucks. In a few short months, their unexpected success had them looking for permanent kitchen space, and they opened a restaurant in the current Three's Bar & Grill location in Kihei's Kalama Village where their menu has evolved incorporating the three chefs' three cuisines - Hawaiian, Southwestern and Pacific Rim. Three's is all about great food with locally sourced ingredients, creating memories, and the casual island lifestyle that these friends enjoy everyday.

“Great happy hour.”
Reviewed July 23, 2014 via mobile

Great happy hour on the deck. Not typical bar food. Very nicely done. Kalua Pork Taro Chip Nachos, Spicy tuna roll. Sweet Potato fries. All on happy hour prices and $3.50 mai-tai. With my favorite beer on tap. Maui Big Swell IPA. Great place.

“Great place for happy hour!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

Great place for food and drinks during happy hour 3-6 pm. We have taken our kids several times as we are staying down the street. The staff are friendly and most importantly the food is really good for the price. We especially like the sushi.

“Food Needs Work”

The food was only average, they did have a jazz band so the place is very casual. Nothing exceptional. Service as above average

“Left with a sour taste in my mouth.....”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

I loved the service but food was average. What really left a sour taste in my mouth, was when we were asked to leave because table we were on was reserved. Our party of six was not drunk, loud or disruptive to business. We were regular paying customers. We ordered a total of 8 appetizers and 13 alcohol drinks.
To be treated in this manner, which was a first in any restaurants I've been to, it is totally unacceptable.
This could have been avoided prior to being seated. The hostess could have set us up at any of the numerous empty tables. The manager was no help also. He was apologetic but only offered us a complimentary round of drinks. We declined because we were not there to get anything for free. (regular paying customers)
