Description: Recently featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Chefs. Surfers. Friends. Travis Morrin, Cody Christopher, and Jaron Blosser discovered they share a fanatic enthusiasm for surf while working together at a top local restaurant six years ago. While surfing together around Maui they dreamt up the idea to start their own catering business using their regarded culinary school training and experience so they could surf whenever they wanted. Three's Catering was launched in 2009 using a rented warehouse and their old trucks. In a few short months, their unexpected success had them looking for permanent kitchen space, and they opened a restaurant in the current Three's Bar & Grill location in Kihei's Kalama Village where their menu has evolved incorporating the three chefs' three cuisines - Hawaiian, Southwestern and Pacific Rim. Three's is all about great food with locally sourced ingredients, creating memories, and the casual island lifestyle that these friends enjoy everyday.

I was there in May for a friend's wedding (#graceanderikgetmauid) and the guys' there were absolutely amazing, such friendly staff, always a smile on their faces and the food served was DELICIOUS!!! Oysters, poki, and kobi beef were mouthwatering and tasteful! Wish there was one back here in Toronto! We had such a wonderful time at the wedding that we came back for dinner and drinks the next day, and still everything was great. Excellent Happy Hour, love the Mai Thais!

Yummy treats at incredibly reasonable prices. Outside and super comfortable inside seating. Great deals on beers and cocktails. Try the Kalua pork nachos or the crab cakes. Cheap and delicious eats!

Six of us went for lunch. Patio was inviting and menu looked great. Also a lot of great reviews. I had the noodle soup. The flavor swerve great but the brisket was like eating leather. It was the end piece that was probably from the day before. My friend ordered a salad. The waitress spilled it as she was about to serve it. Half ended up on floor, part on my friend. No apologies, no cleanup and we had to ask repeatedly for extra napkins so she could clean the dressing off her sleeve.
Another couple joined us later in the week and despite our lunch experience the majority wanted to eat there. So we went for dinner. First clue - not many sitting inside though it was cool. Second clue - took forever to receive initial service. Stayed that way through the meal except when it was time for the check. We were warned that the sashimi will come out quickly. They must have meant after the fish was delivered to them. We saw a group that came in at the same time we did, sat on the patio, they were done before we got our mains. Food was mediocre. Not worth the price.

We ate dinner at Three's Bar and Grill after reading about it in the local Kihei visitors guide. The food was quality and very tasty. No problems with anything we ordered. We were seated on the patio after arriving and there was wonderful live music. After reviewing the menu we decided we'd get a few items from the separate happy hour menu we were given when we sat down, but when we asked our server about it she said that the menu we were looking at only applied to the dance/bar area inside and not to the patio area. We ended up picking out meals from the other menu given to us, but it was a little bit frustrating to pick out what we wanted from a menu that didn't apply to the area we were sitting in. Why even hand us those menus?

We went in for a drink and ended up ordering food. It was amazing! My husband had sushi and I had coconut shrimp. Drinks were well worth it but the food was so good. We plan on going back several times before we go home.
