Description: Recently featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Chefs. Surfers. Friends. Travis Morrin, Cody Christopher, and Jaron Blosser discovered they share a fanatic enthusiasm for surf while working together at a top local restaurant six years ago. While surfing together around Maui they dreamt up the idea to start their own catering business using their regarded culinary school training and experience so they could surf whenever they wanted. Three's Catering was launched in 2009 using a rented warehouse and their old trucks. In a few short months, their unexpected success had them looking for permanent kitchen space, and they opened a restaurant in the current Three's Bar & Grill location in Kihei's Kalama Village where their menu has evolved incorporating the three chefs' three cuisines - Hawaiian, Southwestern and Pacific Rim. Three's is all about great food with locally sourced ingredients, creating memories, and the casual island lifestyle that these friends enjoy everyday.

I enjoyed a casual dinner here with my husband. Three's consists of a large lounge on one side and the restaurant on the other. If you go to eat - hold out for a table outside. It has a great ambiance - especially in the evening. I had the chicken stir fry - delicious and my hubby had the spinach salad with the mango habanero wings. Caution - habanero means HOT - and they were! Not for the faint of heart! But all in all, a great meal. I would have loved to gone back for breakfast but ran out of time!

I really enjoyed the happy hour - great food and drink specials. The coconut shrimp app was delicious! I enjoyed the outdoor patio but would have been happy inside as well, with the nice, modern atmosphere.

Food is always great with lots of variety. Best sushi I've ever eaten. Service is always great. Prices are moderate for Maui, i.e., in comparison to other upscale restaurants.

Stumbled across this restaurant for breakfast because Kihei Caffe was closed. There is an indoor seating section and a patio section as well. A clean place and worth a try, so I thought.

We ordered the loco moco (my hubby's favorite) and the breakfast sandwich. Both were boring and bland. My husband said the loco moco was "very average" and he's had it at several places on the island. I had the breakfast sandwich and numerous shakes of salt and pepper couldn't make it any tastier.

I did overhear the waitress saying their specialty is the eggs benedict, so perhaps I just made the wrong choice.

Prices are high for breakfast - ranging from $11-$14 before drinks (i.e. coffee $2.50). It wouldn't be an issue if it was 'to die for' quality, but that wasn't the case here. Next time around, i'd definitely skip it and find another breakfast option, there are so many great ones in Kihei!

We went there for new years eve and had the set menu. The food was not good. It was such a disappointment. The service was also bad. We got champagne with dinner. There was supposed to be a glass of champagne with each course but the waitress kept forgetting to bring it with the food. So by the end it was three glasses of champagne served at crazy times and with dessert. At the same time, we felt rushed as well as poorly served. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.
