Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Kyle hooked us up today! We went in to rent snorkel gear , got a sweet frew upgrade and signed up for a 2 hour time share presentation which we wanted to learn about anyway. The best part about that was we literally were paid $100 cash to listen to the presentation! We walked out w/ $100 cash, snorkel gear & met a great guy & his awesome friendly bird Skeeter! Ya gotta go!

“Never again!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I'm sitting here inside the cabin of Frogman writing this review as we've been sitting in the same exact place for over an hour watching one single mother whale and her baby. We are right outside Maalaea harbor at the windmills. The boat is packed and no room to move around. I asked the captain if this is a typical whale watch and he said its a bit windy to move any further. I asked if they normally would cancel then. And he said they were on the boarder of canceling. This is a complete waste of 2 hours. Been on over a dozen whale watches with many companies on Maui and this has been a complete waste of time! No fun at all. You get what you pay for.

“Great Molokini snorkeling trip!”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

Booked our snorkel trip to Molokini through Boss Frogs aboard Frogman II but ended up on Quicksilver, a bigger boat. Absolutely great outing, even if you don't want to get in the water. Captain Allen gave a great tour of Maui from the water, pointing out sights on shore and in the water ("whale at 3 o'clock"). The crew was friendly and helpful, making sure the snorkelers had proper fittings of equipment and helped us in and out of the water. Very clear water at Molokini. Complimentary breakfast and hot sandwiches for lunch. Lots of white-caps on our one hour trip back. Felt spray on our top deck seats. Note: Arrive early for best seat selection.

“Snorkel Gear and Trips”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

At Boss Frogs you can expect to be taken good care of. They have good equipment but don't be fooled by the $1.50 a day for snorkel gear. This is only to get you into the shop. The good stuff will cost you about $9 a day or $30 for the week, but if you go out even twice in the good areas (which the staff will tell you were they are) you'll have a great experiance.

We were offered a discount for a snorkel trip out to Molokini which we were going to book elsewhere at a higher price so it all worked out.

When on our trip, there were not enough seats for everyone on board so make sure you show up early for any Frogman II excursions.

The crew however was professional and fun. The food offered on our morning trip was muffins and coffee for breakfast and ample cold cuts for sandwichs, fruit and soda for lunch. teh bar is open after all the snorkelling is done.

Overall I was satisfied dealing with Boss Frog's.

PS: You can rent gear from any other their locations and drop it off any location. We rented in Kihei and dropped off in Lahaina which was very convienent.

“Went on a Whale Watch with them - it was great!”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

First of all they have a two for one special, so for 2 it was $34 incl tax! You cannot beat that deal. Secondly, they had a great crew on the boat and they made Mai Tais from scratch! There were six of us that went and we all had a great time and will do this again. The crew was fun and knowledgeable and they made some great drinks for us too, we love them! We got spooned by a bunch of whales, mommys with babies, males, etc. We had babies breaching and a male that must have been 40 tons.. it was amazing and beautiful to see them so close up. We all got great photos, and it was a great way to start off the evening, we went on a 2 hour sail at 4pm so it was sunset as we were coming back into harbor. This was a highlight of the trip for sure, thanks you guys!! See you again soon!!
