We stayed at Maui Sunset 113A in March 2014 and loved it very much. Everything in the the unit was in good order, although somewhat dated. It is stuffed with everything you may possibly need - towels, food containers, utensils of all kinds, even powerful insecticide spray (mosquitoes can be an issue in Maui). Let me list some good and bad things.
Grounds. The lawn between buildings A and B is exceptional.
First floor. I think this is be GREAT for families with children. Me and my newlywed wife could only watch, with a bit of an envy, others' children stepping out from their lanais to beautiful lawn and start playing there. Otherwise, descending from an upper floor would be a little trip for a whole family.
Room preparedness. We literally did not miss anything, amount and variety of things in the unit exceeded our expectations.
Wall/Window unit A/C's. They are a little loud and not very powerful. After first night we just slept with sliding door open and didn't turn the bedroom A/C on. I personally don't think a room in Hawaii needs an A/C, external air circulation is enough.
Closet space. There is only one closet, and it's already half-filled with good things like ironing board and extra towels.
