New owner, Delphine, a lovely young French gal, provided a full day (6+ hours) of guided birdwatching, story-telling and generally terrific historical, natural & local Maui information. We were delighted to see special treats like the Silversword plant, found only at the summit of Mt. Haleakala, the I’iwi & Apapane, Honeycreepers of Hosmer Grove along with other amazing Hawaiian species I’d not seen before. Found a total of 22 species thru-out the whole day, that i’d Never have spotted myself! We had the tastiest & most generous meal & snacks throughout the day! In addition, Delphine was a pleasure to spend our day with! This is a Maui highlight not to be missed.... Especially if you’re a birder! She also provides tours on the ‘Road to Hana - that we look forward too! PS... Bird pics are stuck in camera - But few of Haleakala & group!

My husband and I agreed that we really enjoyed this tour with Beth, who is very passionate about Maui and its natural beauty—especially birds. I wasn’t even feeling 100% due to allergy attack but I still had a lovely time thanks to our tour guide. This is a great way to see Haleakalā plus go into some groves and ponds to see Hawaiian birds in action.

My husband and I spent a day with Beth on the birding tour. We were looking for birds on the days leading up to the tour with Beth, but ended up adding 7 new birds to our list. She was very knowledgable about the island, had excellent snacks and was a great driver. We had great conversations with other people on the tour and were able to focus on looking for birds instead of driving the crazy curvy roads ourselves. We both highly recommend this tour.
