Great sandwiches and nothing over $8. Stop and get them on your way to the beach. There may be a lineup but worth the wait.

Great lunch! My husband had the ham and pineapple (surprising kick to this one) and I had the squealer (well, part of it -- it was huge!) Good prices (particularly for HI), pretty quick service. I was having a hard time deciding between a couple of options and the cashier seemed glad to provide a thoughtful opinion.

Recommendation: grab the lunches and head across the street to find a parking spot and picnic table for lunch with a great view at one of the local beaches.

Went for lunch today with my wife and this one is a winner! Loved the Red Rooster and the Pesto Chicken sandwiches and the potato macaroni salad. Lots of spicy kick to the Red Rooster and lots of flavor for the pesto chicken. Never seen the thinly sliced panini bread before but we LOVED it!

True that it is a hole in the wall place that you have to seek out because you will never see it just driving by. Just a bit south of Denny's and well worth the search.

We wanted a quick place to eat after we tried surfing - the fact that the sandwiches were also FANTASTIC was a bonus!

We ate there on our last day, as well, as a little treat to ourselves. We tried 3 sandwiches, total. The red rooster, the chicken pesto and the squealer. They were all delicious. The red rooster nice and spicy, and the chicken pesto really smooth and tasty.

Also ordered a side of potato macaroni salad which was delicious.

The portions were quite large - it could easily serve as breakfast/lunch or lunch/dinner.

It is a small spot with two picnic bench tables, so the ideal would be to order with a place in mind to eat it - I cannot recommend across the street at a picnic table while watching the sunset enough.

After a day of snorkeling don't forget to stop and grab a big bowl of great food. Only open 8-5 I think so make it a lunch thing. Went back three times. You can't buy the ingredients on Maui for the price they charge for this very fresh food. It's tiny and stuck in behind a few other stores. Eat there if you can.
