The condo was perfect and had absolutely everything we needed and loved the location. Great view, easy access to the beach and very quiet! Look forward to returning.
The building itself is on the ocean front but this particular unit (409) faces a parking lot and is near the end of the complex close to the main road. There is a side view of the ocean from the lanai. The first night we arrived the bedroom blind fell to the ground in the middle of the night and made a very loud noise. We called and emailed Maui Condo Rentals to ask them to come by to fix the blind. They did not fix it until the 3rd day of our stay. In addition, the bedrooms blinds are see through so that in the evening when the lights are on inside, the view of everything inside is plainly visible from the outside. My daughter and I were self conscious about undressing in the bedroom as the adjacent condo had a very clear view of us. The other aspect of the blinds is that as soon as the sun comes up at dawn, there is nothing blocking the light from streaming in through the window.
Aside from the above, this condo has a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, beach towels, coolers and beach toys. The kitchen and both of the bathrooms have been updated with new cabinets and granite counter tops. There is an in-suite washer/dryer and most importantly it has a very good air conditioning system in the unit. Overall I would recommend the unit because it was comfortable to stay at though it's lacking proper window coverings the unit itself is not "ocean front". Also, the owner was very pleasant to deal with.
We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our vacation in Maui. The condo was inviting and open. Beds were comfortable and the sea breeze in the master bedroom was so relaxing. Loved the patio to watch sunset and do some work from.
The kitchen had everything you need to make full meals and the rooftop grills were an added bonus. The condo was equipped with plenty of beach amenities as well.
I've stated in Kihei before and this is by far one of my favorite spots. It's a lot quieter of a condo then then the busier end of Kihei Road. Still close to restaurants, shopping and bars. And the beach is right outside your door. It was nice to have a keypad on the door as we didn't have to worry about loosing our keys after a day on the beach.
The management company was easy to deal with and we look forward to renting this condo on the next Maui visit.
