First off you are not going to find this restaurant if you look for "230 Hana Highway". That might be its mailing address but more precisely it is located off Hana Highway in an older business strip mall on E. Wakea Avenue. This is one of those little hole in the wall restaurants that have the feel of an old school bistro; that is, it’s more about the food and how good it is and less about the atmosphere and ambiance. It is a clean little place that serves authentic Filipino food to locals and tourists alike. The owners are very friendly and will gladly assist customers who have never tried this sort of cuisine before. I concur with the comments from fellow TA contributors, regarding this little gem. The downside of waiting too long to post my own comments is I just can not remember the name of the dishes we tried. All I do remember is the food was good and wholesome and worth a repeat performance. Next time we’ll have room for dessert.
