First of all if you are in a hurry don't plan on going to hana, you won't enjoy it and there is way to much to see. Plan on spending a minimum of two days one night and with that short amount of time you still won't see everything or make the drive worth it! That being said food here is wonderful and if you do happen to catch them at such a busy time as your food would take an hour? They wouldn't likely even have a place for you to sit at so come back for a different meal! We had freshly made garden veggies and locally caught fish special sautéed up in an amazing freshly made sauce it was incredible! Family friendly quick in quick out (for us) and I think you can bring your own drinks. At least we did (beer and more beer) no one cared!

What a great little restaurant! The sister restaurant to Nutcharee's, Pranee has wonderful salads, entrees and starters. We had the Opakapaka salad and loved it just like we did at Nutcharee's. Highly recommended if you are visiting Hana for the day, or over night.

This place took like an hour to get out food. Not worth the wait. Especially if you plan on visiting more places on the road to hana

Driving the long and windy road to Hana is not for the faint of heart. Once you arrive in the sleepy little village, there are not many dining options. If you enjoy Thai food, this is your place. The eatery sits unassumingly in a small field near the end of Uakea Road next to the school. No care and little expense has gone into the restaurant's physical structure. It is merely a large shack with a metal overhang and outdoor deck tables. The dining establishment has no website or phone number. It communicates with its patrons by a mere red sign that says, "Thai Food." The menu is writing on a white board and posted by the entranceway. I doubt you will find this place listed in any travel guidebook. My fourteen year old daughter picked this spot based on TripAdvisor reviews. She made a tasteful choice. The Thai food was very good. I recommend the spring rolls for a starter. The drunken noodles and pad thai were yummy. We also ordered the daily special, which was a fish and noodle dish. It was delicious. Serve yourself drinks out of an ice chest at the front of the overhang proved refreshing. All-and-all, it is a unique dining experience that will leave your mouth watering, especially if you order if you order your food SPICY.

We enjoy a great late afternoon lunch in this highly rated Hana favorite. Wait was around 40 minutes as dishes are not rushed.

Everyone enjoyed their dishes and ahi special was done to perfection. Iced Thai Coffee was great. Parking is sparse and bathroom is down the street at the local park but we loved it.

Perfect fuel to continue on the Hana highway!
