“A must stop in Hanna”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

Organic produce, smoothies and sandwiches. What's there not to like. A local group provides this service and a lot of locals count on it for their produce. Make sure you stop by on the way to downtown Hana. Yes! It is under a tent

“best banana bread in maui”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

their banana bread is amazing, and they have so many different variety's. i got the banana pineapple and it was so moist and fresh and delicious. the macadamia toffee was addicting as well. my hubby got a smoothie that was jam packed with fruits, it was hands down the best smoothie we have ever had... and we are smoothie junkies! i loved their pineapple hot sauce and am totally contemplating placing an order :)

“I would stop again”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2012

Organic foods, fruits, smoothies, ice cream. They had a great selection of local wares. Banana bread was very good, but "i aint buyin' banana bread". Sorry.

I did however, buy a smoothie and some macadamia toffee and both were very good. Service was good. A bit slow but hey, you're in Hana....

“Expensive but good”

Wow...a 12$ pineapple but yummy. Also several other indigenous fruits. Lots of banana bread too. I recommend to try it.

“all hype - banana bread fizzled.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

I want to start by letting you know that a number of people told us "you must go to Hana Farms". Some people even went as far as saying its the "best banana bread in Maui". Let me tell you, it's just ok.

I'm not sure what about this place makes it a "must-see". It's a simple stand, on the side of a highway, manned by a single young female and offers banana bread, various other organic foods and some hawaiin souvenirs. The Banana bread is ok but it's not as good as its made out to be.

If you are doing the "Road to Hana" then you can stop here or on one of the other 2,000,000 places that sell Banana bread but I wouldn't re-route your trip or plan an excursion on the sole basis of coming to Hana Farms. What they are doing is commendable, but this isn't something you would write home about.
