My friends and I chose Ocean Breezes for our recent Hawaiian holiday. We rented the Whispering Bamboo cottage and the studio. We were very comfortable and Casey our host was always ready with a smile to offer assistance or advice. We would definitely visit again.
Ocean Breezes is tricky to find in the dark. The owners would benefit from some signage at the junction and gateway.

We are grateful for this very thoughtful comment and have corrected the situation on our front entrance... which was a temporary situation.
The reason why we have chosen to keep outdoor lighting to the minimum is so that guests can see the night sky and all of its wonders and not be subjected to light pollution.
To clearly see all the celestial bodies in the sky at night... makes you feel one with the universal consciousness who created it all.

We were greeted with banana bread and coconut water. That made me smile, it was yummy!
This was a special romantic vacation with my man and he was as delighted as I was with how
clean and comfortable everything was. Everything we needed was in our cottage, we were
able to prepare gourmet meals and enjoyed eating on the lani with the beautiful views. I found
the property peaceful and couldn't wait to walk around studing all of the flowers and became
very peaceful meandering in the lush beauty. Casey made us feel cared for and at home,
can't wait to return to this special hidden paradise.

We would jump at the chance to stay here again sometime!
My family and I recently spent a week staying in the Hibiscus Hideaway and we enjoyed every minute of it. We took advantage of the fresh fruits and coconuts from the property, lovely ocean views and breezes, and Casey and Anjali both made us feel welcome and loved. We liked having a full kitchen to work in so we could cook up wonderful Hawaiian seafood. And the cottage is conveniently located, but not in the middle of the tourist area--a plus for us.
We highly recommend this rental property!

In reading the other reviews of Maui Ocean Breezes, I can only agree with all of the positive things said about it. Casey shared the true spirit of Alhoha with us and helped to make our entire trip to the island very special. Our family of three stayed for 7 days in the Hibiscus Hideaway - a perfect home from which to explore Maui! We would go back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I have been so fortunate to return to Whispering Bamboo Cottage at Maui Ocean Breezes for four visits. Every time we return to this idyllic location in Maui, it feels as if we have come "home". Our most recent trip in October was no exception! We were warmly greeted by property manager Casey, complete with fresh fruit grown on the grounds and fabulous homemade banana bread. The Cottage is such an oasis in a busy, overly structured world, and it is a perfect accommodation for couples or families. Each room is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is completely stocked for cooking and dining, the cottage is spotlessly clean, and the aloha energy is genuine and pervasive. The private lanai provides a spectacular location for star-gazing, and the cottage itself becomes an essential part of the vacation. We will continue to return to this wonderful location for years to come. We have never had the opportunity to meet the owner Anjali, but her presence is felt in every perfect detail. You cannot go wrong with this location!

We just returned from our stay at Maui Ocean Breezes November 7th -12th and are already planning a returning visit next year. The grounds and views were beautiful and Casey was just wonderful with our 2 children. The fresh fruit and banana bread was a added bonus. With her guidance, we were able to find the local grocery store, local shopping, and a beach safe for the kids (baby beach with a natural reef). I would highly recommend this property. Thanks for such an enjoyable experience during a whirlwind week.

How much do we like staying at Maui Ocean Breezes? This is our second time staying and we are planning our third. We stayed 5 days this October. In 2009 we stayed in the Cottage and most recently October 2012 we stayed in the Hibiscus Hideaway with our 2 year old daughter and two grandparents. Ocean Breezes is located in our favoriate area of Maui (The Haiku/Paia area). The Prices are most reasonable and the accomodations clean and includes everything you will need (internet, washing and drying machine, full kitchen, fruit right from the trees on the property). On days you don't want to go out exploring maui you can relax on the grounds. The salt water pool, meditation hut, and grills are available for you to have a day at home away from home in one of the most scenic and beautiful places we've been . . . maui! Not much different from the first time we stayed . . . which is good because we had a great time our first visit and we had an equally great time now. The rooms are clean and the property immaculate. People have written of having bugs in their room . . . i honestly didn't see one bug during this stay . . . maybe i'm not looking but don't let the bug situation turn you away. I'm not sure what people were talking about. The one addition and bright spot this visit is the new hospitality hostess KC. She will give you a coconut opening lesson, provide you with daily fresh fruit and make you a great banana bread that leaves you wanting more when you finish. Our 2 year old daughter was very much a fan of KC's hospitality and her vibrant personality - Thanks KC. We highly recommend this establishment run by the hosts Anjali and Ken. Another thing we like is speaking and planning directly with the owners Anjali and Ken when booking the vacation . . . they are very accomodating and available. Thanks Maui Ocean Breezes. Best regards, J&N

Room Tip: We have stayed in the Cottage and the Habiscus Hideaway. The Cottage is great for a large family an...
