While it may not offer fine dining, we found the pizza we had here on our arrival in the Haiku area to be superior, both crust and ingredients. The beer selection was good, and included what had already become our island favorite, namely the Maui Brewery's Coconut Porter. The restaurant is across the road from the Haiku Market, which includes the Hana Hou Cafe, a place I recommend if you are looking for real restaurant fare.

This little wine bar was quiet and the bartender was very nice....made us free shots! It is small and kind of out of the way, but nice.

This is a relatively new place and they have all the makings of a great spot. Service was good, food was, too and the beer was cold! They had lots and lots of wine options. Indoor and outdoor seating and live music. The pizza we had was awesome and other items on the menu intrigued us as well. We'll go back!

Great little out of the way place to eat. Staff was pleasant and food was delicious. Also very well priced by Maui standards. We would definitely eat here again.

We were hesitant to try THE LILIKOI GRILL and WINE BAR because it took over a location where the former restaurant was not good. Ah, but we were delightfully surprised! It's all good. We have been three times and each experience just got better until we decided to try THE LILIKOI'S Saint Patrick's Day Celebration on March 17, 2012. Then WOW, what a great meal, great wine and fun lively atmosphere. Live entertainment which was lovely.
I believe it is the owner and his wife that we saw moving thru the tables, seeing that things were running well. Also the Chef brought out several of the dinners that people had ordered, which was nice because you could talk to the man that made the meal, if you so desired. Our waitress was friendly and available. You could feel everybody, staff and patrons, contributing to a friendly, lively, evening of fun.
The menue is interesting, and extensive without being overwhelming. We found a new wine that we loved. The prices are fair and the food as well as the presentation of it very good! The corn beef and cabbage was the best we've had and we look forward to next March 17!
The new owner has been there each time we have gone and he comes around to see if you are being taken care of and happy. The first time we went he had us try a new dessert on the house. There were six of us and one Avocado key lime pie to try. Nice touch, and the pie was quite good when otherwise we might not have been tempted!
This is a new restaurant getting it's legs and doing it very well. There might be a little longer delay between ordering your drink and getting it than one would want but that will turn around soon. The music, to my ears, is a little too loud but it is a small complaint. Things will smooth out as experience grows. The things to know is they care what your dinning experience is like, the food is really good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun.
I just want to whisper to the owners because I have this opportunity, if it were me, I would add a warm rich red paint color to a wall here and there, and some more velvety pillows to create a warmth of comfort to go along with the new paint! Thank you. And we wish you the best in this very welcomed, new restaurant in Haiku, Maui.
