Had to stop here because it seemed so popular every time we passed. The coconut shrimp was delicious and for $12 you got a lot plus fries. We will probably go back again for another type of shrimp. The sauce was good but we prefer a mango salsa or some other sauce for coconut shrimp. The restaurant did not disappoint.

Shrimp station has two locations and we ate in both of them and enjoyed it both times.
For $12 you get 10 nice sized coconut shrimp, fries and some special ginger/mango dip sauce.
You can order deep fried or garlic saute, etc.. they have more than coconut shrimp here.
Seating is casual and was outdoors only at this location and indoors at the Kapaa location.
Service was pretty fast even though there were plenty of people there. Very tasty.

If you are a shrimp fan you will love this place. They have many preparations. My favorite is the coconut.
Nothing fancy, it's a walk up stand with picnic tables out front. Stop by on your way up to Koke'e, it's actually located at the turn you take to go up Waimea Canyon/to Koke'e on the left.

We stopped here after hiking in Waimea-and enjoyed the low-key roadside food (maybe moreso because we were hungry after hiking?). The shrimp tacos ($12) were large, and one plate could feed 2 people. We also tried the shrimp in chili sauce (also $12, a white sauce base with chili sauce) which was very flavorful, albeit a bit hard to eat the shrimp with shells on already sauced up, but finger-licking good. all in all, quite a yummy lunch and the place was crowded, but service was fast.

We ordered the coconut shrimp and the shrimp tacos. The tacos were huge and flavorful, though the shrimp didn't shine through the other flavors. The coconut shrimp wasn't overly breaded and had a good amount of coconut on it - along with the dip it was a surprise and we really liked it. But, the two items were about $30 and seemed pricey. I probably wouldn't stop again.
