“Some of the most powerful waves”
Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

Don't let your kids in the water! These waves are amazing and toss even adults around like driftwood. A stunning natural spectacle and amazing beach for walking or a picnic. Not really for swimming.

“Awesome”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

I felt like I was standing at the edge of the world. We bought a picnic and spent the day out here. Very hot part of the island. Currents were strong so be careful. In fact we saw a helicopter with a bright light in the evening after the sunset, and read an article the next day that said someone got swept out :( Be careful

“Beautiful and breathtaking!”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

This stretch of beach is far from the being a crowded vacationers' beach. The solitude and cleanliness makes this an ideal beach to just get away. Bring a towel to sit on and just take in the breathtaking views. Swimming isn't recommended due to large waves, so very risky. The leeward side of the island is quiet and away from resorts and hotels. Love this stretch of beach!
