“Great condo that has it all”
Reviewed April 17, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed 5 nights at this condo in Hanalei Bay Resort. It was a wonderful location and great staff and grounds at the resort. We made use of the onsite BBQs and pool especially since we were travelling with a group for a wedding so the set up was perfect. This unit is by the parking lot which was ideal so we could come and go with ease and not have to walk through the resort or call a shuttle as some of our travelling companions did further into the resort property. Overall a wonderful unit, very clean and with so many details thought about for your stay like beach equipment and kitchen supplies that we really didn't need for anything!

“A trip to paradise”
Reviewed October 2, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Nice, accommodating, and responsible owners of a pretty little condo with a perfect view of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. We had a wonderful time on this trip. A few things that stood out: 1) Bed was so comfortable! Great night's sleep! 2) Condo was quiet with no one above you. We didn't hear any noise from the adjoining condos. 3) The Hanalei Bay Resort was much more than expected and when the restaurant on site opens in December, it's going to be hard to beat in the area. The lava rock hot tub with warm sand on the bottom fed by a waterfall was straight out of a movie. The large lava rock lined pool with waterfalls is so much nicer than the pool next door at St. Regis that you pay $700/night to use. Hanalei Bay Resort shares their beach with the St. Regis so when you stroll down the pretty little island path to the beach, if you look to the right, you will see the St. Regis beach with cabanas and covered patio chairs and manicured sand - nothing at all like the true Kauai I traveled for. If you look to the right, you see the Hanalei Bay resort beach, with natural tropical shade trees, coarse white sand, and a long expanse of private quiet access. You can swim around to the left and arrive at the Hanalei pier and Black Pot beach. So if you want the St. Regis experience, go over and order an $18 drink and enjoy it, but come home to the lush garden paths, the great parking, the waterfalls on the Bali Hai view after a rain storm, the fabulous pools, the privacy, and the overall value of the Richards' condo. I will so go again!

“Heaven on earth.”
Reviewed July 21, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We loved Ginny's condo! It was perfect for my husband and I. The balcony view was breathtaking. We LOVED the peacefulness of Hanalei Bay Resort. The entire staff are the most friendly and helpful people you could ever imagine. The construction workers didn't bother us in the least, actually they were a pretty quiet bunch, considering they were rebuilding the front desk area, restaurant and bar from a previous fire. Leaving the premises for food and drinks was not a big deal, everything's within a few minutes of the resort. All in all, I would give Hanalei Bay Resort and room 1306 owned by Ginny a two thumbs up!! I had an awesome 50th birthday this year and my husband did a great job picking our vacation rental. The parking was very convenient also! I had read a few gripes about it on reviews, was pleasantly surprised how wrong they were! But, if you had a long tiring day, the very accommodating golf cart guys would haul you anywhere you wanted to go, no problem!! We truly had the BEST vacation and made some good friends. Thank you Ginny, ALL the staff at Hanalei Bay Resort and Tripadvisor for the information supplied in order for us to find just the right place! Maholo Nui Loa, Donna Robnett

“Fantastic Location! Beautiful Resort!”
Reviewed May 27, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Kauai, and this condo fit our needs perfectly. The view from the lanai is stunning, and we spent a few hours every morning and every evening out there taking it all in. We enjoyed the north shore locale tremendously, and resort staff were helpful when called upon.
Thank you again for the opportunity, and we hope to return again soon!

“Great value, wonderful home base”
Reviewed April 12, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We just got back from spending a week in #1306 and were very happy with our home away from home! The resort is beautifully landscaped with an awesome pool & hot tub and a short walk to a great beach. Princeville is a great location with restaurants & a grocery store close by (Food Land has stellar sushi!) The unit itself is close to the parking lot and pool and has a lush beautiful view of mountains & foliage. Clean and nicely decorated and stocked with everything we needed-love the high ceiling. This is such a good value for the low price and Ginny was great to work with. The front desk is open 24 hours too- great customer service! We found we could rent snorkel gear from the stand by the pool and spend all day on the beach shared with the St. Regis- no need to drive anywhere if you don't feel like it (although Tunnels, Hanalei & Ha'ena are not to be missed) A note about the ongoing construction- it's near the unit but only from 8AM to 4PM and not very loud, it didn't bother us at all. There is a $12 / day resort fee and the internet is very, very slow.
