A group of us enjoyed happy hour which is 4-5 PM everyday and the building is unbelievably beautiful. Huge windows overlook a championship golf course, a bit of the ocean and the sunset. Tourists from the east coast were amazed with the views. The food is simple and during happy hour very reasonably priced. The macadamia nut pesto flat bread was delicious, fried calamari, also and big pieces of pita bread with hummus.
We shared a piece of Tavern Pie made with a layer of coconut pudding, chocolate pudding and whipped cream. Pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream delis.
This restaurant has a lot going for it at happy hour.

we came to the Tavern with a party of 5. It was very noisy, with an atmosphere more like a chain restaurant than I had anticipated. The menu has a wide selection of entrees from the most simple hamburger to the most exotic fish. My wife loved the shrimp scampi, and rated it one of the best she has ever had. We will return for another dinner tomorrow because of her enjoyment of that particular dish.

We actually visited twice in the week we stayed in Princeville- both times the food was great. The French Onion Soup was fantastic as well as the Braised Short Ribs, Parmesan crusted fresh catch, and the Mac 'n cheese. One of our visits was for lunch before golfing The Prince Course- we had the BLTA sandwich (bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado) and it was the most delicious sandwich I think I have ever had. We will definitely go back when we visit Princeville in the future.

The views from the restaurant are beautiful and the food is simply marvelous as well. Their fries are addicting and their burgers/sandwiches are delectable. You should definitely come here.

The clubhouse is xb unusually large building with shops and restaurant. We went for dinner. The specials were good efficient service.
