We were there for the Valentine's Day dinner. My wife had a glass of Chardonnay; I chose the wine pairings. The food was very good, and I enjoyed the wines. A multi-course meal of small servings is very reminiscent of French dining. For the food quality, the price of $60 was, I thought, reasonable in this setting. For $20, 4 smaller (4 oz.?) glasses is not bad either. The one criticism would be the service, which I noted to be somewhat uneven, and though we were there early, the server never made any attempt to engage us in discussion. Indeed, checked only once to find out if the items served were OK. Perhaps too many tables to serve?

We stayed at the Westin and had takeout. Our scallop (1) and crab-cake (2 tiny) appetizer ($17) had a rancid swamp-smell that was literally noticeable from several feet away. My girlfriend's comment that the one rubbery scallop and over-salted cakes smelled worse than they tasted is about all there is to say. We also ordered the pineapple upside-down cake ($10) & could literally taste the microwave oven. The next night we drove down to the St. Regis and for the same amount of money had vastly, immeasurably better food. We recommend you do the same.

Food was just OK...portions were very small for the amount of money charged. We were there twice and both times felt like the portions were very small. Although most of the food was good, I would not rate it excellent!

We were staying at the Westin Princeville Resort and had the good fortune of eating at Nanea a number of times. The food was excellent and the service great. For my wifes birhtday, Jason, their Sous Chef, created a meal just for her. Blew us away! Fey was our server more than once and is a sweetheart. They also provide the food for the pool bar and it is excellent.

We this restaurant to everyone.

Ordinarily we disdain restaurants in hotels, for they rarely live up to the billing (especially true at the Westin's sister, the St. Regis). The Nanea, however, is a wonderful exception with a nice atmosphere, great service (with a smile), a tasty menu, and food that is well prepared and presented. The Nanea adds to the excellence of the Westin Resort
