We had a wonderful stay at the St Regis. I think what stands out the most about this resort (besides the amazing view) is the staff; they really went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing less than wonderful (special thanks to Boris). The resort is gorgeous, and has beautiful grounds. We had an ocean-view room, which had breathtaking views. We enjoyed one day down by the beach and pool area, which was not at all crowded and very relaxing, again the service here was impeccable. We also made sure to watch the sunset at the balcony bar and had the amazing brunch at Makana Terrace. Even though Princeville is a more isolated area of the island, it is definitely worth the drive. We were here to celebrate our anniversary, and I couldn’t have been happier celebrating it at the St Regis. Even if you chose not to stay at the St Regis, it is definitely worth a visit while on Kauai! (although, I definitely thought it was worth splurging on for a few nights!)

Room Tip: get an ocean view room, you won't be disappointed

I will keep this review simple, you simply can not trust anyone who does not rate this place 5 stars it is an incredible property and likely the nicest place I have ever stayed. The staff is almost overly attentive they remember your name and preferences and the room was comfortable.

But the view, it just can not be described with words you have to go there. Don't miss the champagne sabering at sunset or the hike to queens bath.

I only wish I had the chance to play the golf courses so I will be going back.

Room Tip: Ocean view or don't bother.

My lady and I had the very fortunate opportunity of staying at the gorgeous St. Regis Princeville while attending a Tony Robbins event. The theme of the event was love and relationships, so it meshed extremely well with this amazingly beautiful place. The staff is incredibly friendly...they really have that Aloha spirit. The restaurants are wonderful as well. I personally recommend the hamburger and pork sliders down by the poolside. Our room was sexy and spacious with an awesome view of Hanalei bay. Please take full advantage of the activities there like snorkeling, scuba, and canoeing Hanalei Bay. Will ABSOLUTELY return again. Mahalo!!!

First, this hotel it just gorgeous. Our friend said to go see the views from this hotel of this famous beaches. And so we did. It was well worth the drive just to see these views. This beaches and bay were in films such as North, Body Heat, South Pacific, Lilo and Stitch and The Wackiest Ship In the Army. Just sit back order a drink and soak in the views. Bring your camera because you will want to capture this.

We had 2 nights at this Hotel. Absolutely beautiful place and the best service from the front valet parking, front desk, servers in the restaurants, housekeeping who brings extra water and chocolates. Amazing views and food. Everything is pricey but was all worth it. Sunday brunch was unbelievable. Hotel is quiet if there is no functions going and removed from busier Lihu'e. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it if you can afford it. Get an ocean view room on the 9, 10 or 11th floor.

We had a great time here in October. The rooms are great, especially, the ones with an ocean view. Room 808 has got, possibly, the best views of the Hanalei bay.

They have an awesome French restaurant and it's not a bad idea to do brunch here while enjoying the views. The beach was pretty good too. The only complaint I got is that valet parking is the only option here. I don't mind the service but on Kauai it seems out of place to pay $30+tips for parking every day.

SPG stays always get a special treatment and they took good care of us. I'd love to stay here again next time.

I was a bit skeptical this place would be as beauitful as they say, but these views really are stunning. I think the mountains in Kauai are too unstable to build on or something, because there is no development on the hills, and so it views stay SPECTACULAR. We say some amazing sunsets there. We had an oceanfront room on the 11th floor, which was beautiful.

Service was great. Make sure to bring LOTS of ones because everywhere you go there is some service person who you need to tip.

Food is extremely overpriced, so be mentally prepared to spend another few hundred per day per person on food and drinks if you eat at the hotel and drink wine.

Breakfast buffet is $38, plus tax and service. Dinner entrees are $40 at least, and poolside cocktails $16 each (and very weak).

Unlike Koa Kea, these guys know how to monetize your stay.

Room Tip: Our oceanfront room was gorgeous. We used points..I'm not sure at all whether it's really w...
