I have been to Kauai many times and stayed previously at the Marriott (once) and the St. Regis (three to four times). I had only walked into the lobby of the Grand Hyatt and looked around at the resort. This past week I had the pleasure of staying there for two nights and they had to pry me out of the hotel. It was so much better than I had anticipated.
The staff is amazing - courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. The food and beverage outlets do a great job from room service to each of the restaurants we visited. Walking along the beach up to the cliffs was fun and lots of great sea life (whales) to watch from multiple locations in the resort. I'm looking forward to my next trip back.More
