“Try the cajun ahi”
Reviewed March 6, 2005

Just spent 3 weeks in the Poipu area and ate several lunches and dinners here. The fish taco at lunch is a great deal for a very yummy portion. The cajun ahi was the best fish I ate anywhere else (and I ate a LOT of fish).

We preferred the bar area to the restaurant - same great food in a more casual atmosphere. We found the staff to be very helpful.

Tried a Lava Flow there, but it was more like a dessert than a drink and I'm not sure if there was any alcohol in it, so stick to wine or beer.

Can't wait to go back.

“Not Good!”
Reviewed February 16, 2005

I have to disagree with the other reviews. I have never experienced a staff as rude as the one in this restaurant. I asked the waiter a question and he barked at me -read the menu! and turned around and walked away. The mixed drinks contain NO alchohol -I had to switch to beer. The food was OK - on par with a chain restaurant but about 50 % overpriced. There are so many great places on Kauai like A Pacific Cafe and The Beach House where your money would be better spent.

“Keoki's is Paradise”
Reviewed February 11, 2005

I can't believe that no one has written a review yet. Whenever we are in Kauai we "splurge" and go to Keoki's. Inside Keoki's is like being outside, green, lush, river running through, little waterfalls. We have been there with and without the kids, romantic, yet family friendly. Oh yeah, the food and service is great.

“One of our Kauai favorites!”
Reviewed February 10, 2005

Although Keoki's is in the Poipu Shopping Village, it has great atmosphere. You forget you are in a shopping area right next to the road. The food is good (lots of fresh seafood options), the prices are decent, the staff is friendly. It's more laid back than a lot of other sitdown restaurants on Kauai. Our favorite part? HULA PIE! (Macademia nut ice cream in a chocolate cookie crust smothered with hot fudge and whipped cream--it's huge!) A lot of the concierge desks at area hotels (we have gotten them at the Embassy and Sheraton) have coupons for a free Hula Pie at Keoki's, you can also find them at some of the stores around it.

Highly recommended!!
