“YUMMMMY! Save room for some Hula Pie!”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

Our concierge at the Grand Hyatt Kauai recommended Keoki's to us and told us to save room for the Hula Pie (so happy we did!)

The atmosphere was really cool. You felt like you were eating outside in the midst of lush gardens where in reality, you were really facing the road though you didn't feel like you were.

We both ordered the caesar salad to start with (very good). My husband got the roast chicken and loved it. I had the filet mignon (YUM) and then we shared the Hula Pie (to die for). The meal was amazing.

Our waiter Joshua deserves a shout out. He was so informative, friendly and had a lot of knowledge of wines/drinks.

I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Kauai.

“Fish taco tip”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

Always love this place. We sit in the bar area which has on offer both the bar and restaurant menus and the daily specials. There is usually live music in the bar area from 7 to 9 pm, different artists. We have tried various appetizers and salads as well as entree specials and are usually very happy - the fresh side salad and the poke tower were today's choices. My favorite go to entree there is the fish tacos - but here's the tip - for a little extra you can have them prepared with the grilled fish of the day instead of the breaded mahi mahi. This is a much fresher and lighter way to have the tacos. Share a hula pie among a group of 3 or 4 and it is plenty. Friendly, casual, well done tiki tacky decor with tiki torches, a pond/palm landscape and a thatched hut bar. Not for the snooty.

“A great dining experience with plenty of atmosphere; a must visit if in the area”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

Situate in a busy, but interesting shopping centre, so parking can be difficult, but we felt it very much worth it. We had not reserved and were told there would be a ten minute wait. We were given one of those remote ringing devices, so we went around the shopping centre, where there is a wide range of good shops: but the wait was in fact only ten minutes.

We dined in the Bamboo Bar and Cafe, rather than the more formal dining, but we had a delightful table on the terrace. There were musicians performing that evening and that also added to the experience.

The trio of hummus was an excellent starter to share; three different flavours with pitta bread, which i do not normally like, but was very enjoyable here.

Main courses were equally tasty, fresh and piping hot.

This restaurant is to be recommended. It had been recommended to us in turn.

My family and I sat at a table near their pond/garden area and it was really beautiful and relaxing. Our server was fantastic, and the food was good. The Hula Pie is a must!
