“Beautiful restaurant, good food”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Make a reservation if you can, because this place becomes very busy and you could end up waiting for a long time. Beautiful open restaurant. Ribs were fantastic. Service was pretty slow as our server looked like he was juggling too many tables.

Waiting to order or waiting to pay = your tip steadily declining...

Nice place for a meal, and a must if you're staying in Poipu.

“Good food and service.”
Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

We ate here twice on our holiday. Liked the ambiance and the service was good. Prices were reasonable especially during happy hour. They make a good maitai and the fish plate was very good.

“Yummy food”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Roy's didn't open until 5:30, so we ate here. Not disapointed at all. The food was excellent, so was the hospitality. Fresh fish ceviche and fish and chips. The funniest thing was the chickens and rooster, that joined us at each meal. We loved it so much, that we ate here every night.

“Shrunken Portions, higher prices”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Keokis is still fine but no longer the bargain it once was. The free salad with the mains is gone (cheapest salad $6) and entrees are up $4-5 as well with smaller portions so I figure it's about +40%-50% from 2 years ago.

No questions food prices are higher these days, but Keokis is now run of the mill on pricing and the food is just average to good so not worth much effort to go there.

“Great (except for the chickens)”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We have been to Keoki's over 2 dozen times and every time has been great. But recently the chickens have found the place and, like all feral animals, they will forage where the food is easiest to obtain. This is fine if they are outside the people eating area but having them scrounging around inside the restaurant is not the best. They get underneath the tables and, not knowing what kind of vermin the might be carrying, rub against your legs and feet. They also leave their droppings on the slate flooring creating a very definite slip hazard, and, not surprisingly, do a great job of ruining your appetite.

Management, please get rid of the chickens for health and safety's sake before someone gets hurt or otherwise has a disturbing visit and decides to get legal about this correctable condition.
