We came to this restaurant ten years ago and had a mediocre experience but wanted to give it a second chance. Big mistake. Restaurant decor looks like it hasn't been cleaned or updated since we last visited. Food: expensive for no reason. No table clothes or placemats, cheap Formica tables, the cheapest flatware and mismatched dishes we've seen outside of Diners & Dives. My wine glass had a crack which had been glued! Baked tomato appetizer: cheese slapped onto a few tomatoes, baked until so hard we could barely cut it. Lobster Bisque? How about Campbell's? Entrees tasted like something your college roommate throws together on a Monday night. Awful. Server had good intentions, but ditched us once the meals came and knew nothing about fine service at a restaurant where $28-30 is the average entree price. Piano player was very good. Only highlight. We'll never come back here.

30 minutes to get some soggy garlic bread followed by very tasty Italian food and then a quick grab the check and leave. I could have enjoyed a fast food experience just as well for a fraction of the price. My tip reflected my level of enjoyment.

Not to be cruel, but this was a strange restaurant experience. Their menu looked intriguing so we thought we'd give it a shot on our last night. Must have had the same server as the reviewer below who said their server seemed over-medicated. Or maybe he was just overwhelmed. The shrimp appetizer was not bad, but not good. We ordered two salads and got one salad that wasn't either of the ones we ordered. Finally got the right ones after the entrees. We mentioned that we like our salmon cooked through, and it arrived raw in the middle. Our neighboring table had some sort of conflict with the manager and walked out. And to top it off, the piano playing was rather frenetic, not relaxing. Completely understaffed.

As all restaurants seem to be in Poipu, this was expensive but had a lot of options on the menu. We left feeling we hadn't really gotten value for our money and it didn't help that though we were 5 adults & an 18 month old baby who didn't order off the menu, they treated us as a party of 6 and charged 20% tip. We are decent tippers anyway, if the service deserves it, and this was hard to swallow. The Chilli Verde risotto was unusual, but we enjoyed it. Two of the party ordered the pasta with Ahi (medium rare as detailed by the kitchen), but one of them received it well done which is a pity for Ahi. The other pastas all seemed to have the same sauces and were strange flavours. Not sure they worked. It was OK, we didn't return.
