First let me start off by saying we almost didn't go here. As guests of the hotel we were originally told the earliest reservation was at 8:30. We called the desk back and they suggested calling the restaurant when they opened to see if they had seating. They confirmed they had immediate openings, we were elated. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we felt very welcomed and comfortable. From the hostess to the gentlemen who brought us water and warm wheat rolls,we felt at home. The real star was our waiter "Derrick" from suggesting the perfect wine,to explaining in simple language the selections on the menu. He actually felt like an old friend and not a waiter just looking for a good tip. Ambience is true Hawaii with the koi fish competing for your attention right outside your table. All and all a perfect night and a great experience.
