We have been to the Beach House in the past and have always left with mixed feelings regarding food, service, and value. Last night however the stars aligned and everything came together in perfection. The views were stunning, the table location was superb, the pictures taken all look great, the waiter (Clyde) was fun and into our experience---even taking several photos for us, the food was scrumptious, and the cocktails and desert were right on the money. We even thought the two young women running valet were excellent. My suggestion ask for Clyde and get a 6pm reservation to fully enjoy the experience. As always my wife and I were so into the evening we couldn't believe we had stayed for three hours. What a night!!!

I checked the time for sunset and made reservations for about 15 minutes prior. The restaurant is open air with views of the ocean from wherever you are seated. The sunset view from here is spectacular and then you get to top it off with an outstanding meal. Well worth the price.

We were seated immediately in the bar at a great table with a great view even tho we had no booking. We had cocktails, appetisers and entrees.
The pork was in a syrupy over sweet sauce and it was very fatty. The poke was soft and flavourless. We asked for some wasabi and soy and the waiter came back with a creamy sauce :(
The arugula salad wasn't dressed and lacked the other ingredients like mango etc.
the entrees were done in a lot of tasteless cream sauce. It's like they're trying too hard. The scallops weren't seared. They were soggy.
Oh, and one more thing. My daughter and I had two cocktails each and they were tasty but they could have been virgin they were so weak....

This restaurant is right on the ocean, and the view through the big, open windows is amazing. I ordered the teriyaki chicken rice bowl and it was truly the best version of this dish I've ever tasted. The chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the mix of vegetables was deliciously stir-fried. A big scoop of steamed rice topped it beautifully. If we had been staying nearby, I would have wanted to go back and have the same dish again. Alas, we were staying on the east shore and this restaurant is on the south shore.

We had 4 fish meals and two pasta, all the fish was over cooked. Pasta was OK with a thin sauce. We had 3 martinis only 2.5 oz each don't expect a full glass. The ceviche app was gummy and dull total change from past years.  We had 2 chocolate desserts and both were over cooked. Nice view if you step outside. The service was good but seams to have lost its passion. This was our 6th visit in 6 years maybe they have new management. We hope the can fix it because it was a great place.
