In a rare stroke of advance planning, we made our New Year's Eve reservations a few weeks before flying to Hawaii. A great decision, as this restaurant, just a long walk from the Sheraton, had a view of the sunset over the water from nearly every seat in the house. Two walls were practically all window. A crowd was gathered on the lawn outside to share the view, but we had a wonderful table inside, with seafood so tantalizing that my wife, normally a vegetarian, was tempted by the Ahi. Pricy, but sometimes you just say, "You only live once."
