“A top island luau”

Best set up with the ocean and sunset in the background. You sit outside in the open air so if the wind is blowing your food can get cold quick. Drinks are included in the price which makes it nice and the food is good. The show is traditional and very well choreographed.

“Food, drinks, and dancing”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

My husband and I enjoyed this luau. The food, drinks, and entertainment were amazing! We absolutely loved it! <3 It was fun to see families, old couples, young couples, and single people at this luau! So many different types(people) at this resort. We met a really fun young couple that sat with us! I think that they try sitting you near people of the same age category, and if they were single they got placed near other single people! Fun! Fun! Fun! Yum!

“Overall Very Good.”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

The entertainment was fantastic. The entertainers all very friendly and the music was great. It was outside and the weather cooperated. The food however was average. Teriyaki beef was tough, teri chicken was a tad salty, lomi-lomi could not taste the salmon. Noodles were excellent though and appetizers were really good. Oh.......the Ahi poke was very good. Melts in your mouth. Folks had trouble "identifying" food because there was not enough light to see the "food labels".

“Sheraton luau”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

The Sheraton Luau is smaller than some others but it was better than the Hyatt luau that I saw 3 years ago. The m.c. was great and very knowledgeable. The dancers were fabulous and oh so colorful. The food was so-so, but the atmosphere on the beach was spectacular. It's a good history of the native dance culture.

“Auli'i Luau, Poipu”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

Enjoyed dinner & show. No pig ceremony but I wasn't looking for that. I was more interested in the ocean front location. I've been to Smith Family and it was good but different priorities this time around. This was a family event with little ones. The location was close by and we didn't want to drive across the island and have a long night. The beach and ocean view were perfect. A full moon added that much more to our enjoyment.

Get there early. Seating is first come first serve. Although, I don't think there is a bad seat. The lawn isn't all that big. Very family friendly. We had a toddler & infant so no worries getting high chairs. Parked our stroller off at the end of our table out of the way.

Buffet style was good not great. Line moved quickly. Seemed like never ending supply of Mai Tai's or Blue Hawaiians. Plenty of tropical punch drinks too.

We thoroughly enjoyed the show. MC was great and kept the show moving. Dancers were great. Little ones were mesmerized by music & colorful dancers.

I would say a little overpriced. Would be better at $75pp but ok for a special occasion.
Parking is limited so we used valet. No charge just a tip.
I would recommend this luau if you are looking for a great setting and sunset and doesn't care about seeing the pig ceremony.
