“Literally a crack in the wall”
Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

This place is a great little known local place to eat on Kauai. Good fish tacos and burritos. Beware though, if you are going with family, friends or a large group there is no seating and no indoors. Prepare to eat in the car or along side the building or in the parking lot. Food is very good. Can get a little pricey but good!

“very affordable, very good”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

We were in the mood for something quick, good and filling after a long morning at the beach. Da Crack filled all those needs. We ordered a shrimp burrito and fish burrito, both were excellent. It was a walk up place with some benches. So we ordered our food, went next door to the grocery store to grab some drinks and snacks and the food was ready when we walked back. This place is totally worth going if you're looking for a good local casual place to grab a quick bite.

“Great Fish Tacos”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

This was the best fish taco I have ever had! The outside of the shop was a little uninviting but the food was absolutely wonderful!

“Three words: Wasabi Sour Cream”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

While in Kauai, we not only wanted to reign in our food budget a little, but we like eating at less "touristy" places when possible. Da Crack is quite literally a hole in the wall; you walk up to a window and order your food, and aside from a couple of benches, there is no other seating. So my husband, 10-year-old daughter, and I ate our delicious burritos al fresco. The portions are huge (we could have easily split one between two people but what fun is that?) and we all got something different so we could try one another's meals. Everything was fantastic. We walked over to Uncle's Shave Ice to douse the fires of the sour cream wasabi, which is my new favorite thing. When I (hopefully) return to Kauai, Da Crack is on da list of where to eat.

“Good, hearty, cheap”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

If you stay in Poipu for any length of time, you'll realize that you need some "real" food that doesn't cost a bundle. Da Crack is great for lunch or dinner, and they'll customize their fresh Mex food for you. (One note, I found that the Mexican rice tasted like raw garlic so I opted for the plain brown rice).
