“Like shopping at Home”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Although not the full size grocery store we are used to it was nice to have a place that was mindful of the quality of food and product they provide. We have grown use to organic living the last few years and with them being close by we didn't have to settle for less

“Nice whole food store but spendy”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

This is a small whole foods market, variety was good, but we found it a little pricey. Still enjoyed going there, the deli sandwiches were delicious, and the daily special was very tasty as a take out for supper.

“Quality goods”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

This market seemed a tiny version of Whole Foods, and it included a nice selection of items to take home, as well as to consume during our stay. The bakery goods were yummy.

“Too Expensive”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Given the fact there are not many grocery stores close to the ocean - this little market has no competition. Therefore the prices are $$$. Standard size box of Honey Nut Cheerios? $8.49 plus tax. I would recommend driving inland.

“Tourist Trap”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

This tourist trap pretends to sell organic local foods, but they sell lower quality food than big chains stores like Safeway at four times the price. The managers are unfriendly and the deli food is average, Their smoothies are double the price of Jamba Juice and they only offer one flavor. They sell expensive conventional produce from the mainland, candy, frozen food, wine, and beer. This store is way too expensive for locals who are smart enough to shop in Lihue or Kapaa. If you are looking for organic local food or organic food from the mainland, then go to Papaya's Natural Foods in Kapaa. The staff at Papaya's are friendly and helpful and their deli is 100 times bettter. Kapaa Safeway is next door to Papaya's and Foodland is a block away.
