I pick Hawaii as a vacation spot for it's tropical beauty and this destination did not disappoint! It's a 2 mile hike in an undeveloped part of Poipu. I'm 60 years old and had no problem walking up to the cliffs. The trails were in a wooded area so you could pop in and out of the cliffs in a shaded area, though I would recommend bringing water with you for the trip. The thing I enjoyed most about this tropical nature hike was each cliff and each side of the cliff was a little different from the next. I attached two pictures of the same cliff, as you can see each side of the cliff is a little different than the other side. If you like a nice short hike with some unique shoreline views this is the spot for you.

the singing blowhole was really memorable... the movement of water driven air thru the nearby
blowhole generates a horn-like sound. Very interesting! Worth a detour for sure!

Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the ocean from a different viewpoint. You are above, looking down at the waves crashing on the rugged shoreline. We started early - 7:30 AM . Got as far as the stables and turned around. Loved this spot. I would add that there is a small parking lot by beach trailhead located down the small road between the Hyatt and the Poipu Golf course. We needed up parking at the Hyatt as we didn’t know about the other lot!

There are some good trails here that give you some great views along the shoreline. The rock formations are always one of my favorite parts of any of the islands and these were spectacular with plenty of turtles and harp seals to keep me entertained!

Great sights, horribly maintained. Just blimey like everything else in Hawaii - raw beauty, not well-maintained. No consideration for visitors bc there are another 278 behind you that will not object/comment.
