Very good golf course. In excellent condition. In fact, I have played it for 20 years and it was in the best shape. Greens are a tad slow, but very smooth. Very reasonably priced through Puite Paradise at $79.

For Hawaii, this golf course is moderately priced (about $90). It is little bit so you don't have some of the spectacular views of other courses on Kauai. The course layout works well for both high and low handicap players. We always play here when on Kauai

Nice place to warm up your skills before playing some of the other bigger courses on the island. The value is in the replay. Sign up for a time share presentation at "The Point at Poipu" and get a free round of golf for two and a warm up bucket of balls. If you do the time share presentation, set your watch alarm for 90 minutes. You will have to see two other people once you advise the time share person you are not interested. Don't haggle over numbers.
The greens are fast and very challenging. Relax, have fun on this reasonable priced course.

We play a lot of golf in Southern California and spend 3 or 4 weeks in Kauai every year on two separate visits in part to enjoy ocean and mountain views while playing golf in Princeville, Kauai Lagoons, Puakea, and Poipu Bay. I cannot fault Kiahuna for the lack of views, but it was too similar to public courses at home. We were particularly frustrated that the starter put our twosome behind a fivesome of locals (regulars), who took their time playing a five hour (+) round and would not let us play through. We tried to take a 'chill out' attitude and just enjoy casual island play, but we felt that our time was wasted. We asked the starter, when we finished, if our 'fivesome - twosome' experience was unusual, and he said that they do cater to locals and their golf preferences. Careful shopping makes the nicer resort courses, with replay packages quite affordable, and much more enjoyabe than Kiahuna for short tern visitors.

We were fortunate to be able to play golf twice at this club. Very friendly staff and good value. Course in good shape and if you could manage the wind. a fun place to play. Incredible scenery did take my eye off the ball at times!
