“Loved it”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

A lot of food for $10. We got a 3 meat combo. This place feels like a food truck in a building. Lots of good meats and they have a pretty sizable menu. We loved korean chicken, terryakki beef, and chicken katsu. Good rice, salad, etc. as well.

Busy with a lot of local drop ins. Many folks seem to call in their order and just drop by to pick it up.

Fun lunch visit to try.

“Oh My Gosh Deliciousness!”
Reviewed January 25, 2014 via mobile

Daughter found this place on Yelp. Stopped on our way from airport and it was just amazing. Had a variety of things - classic loco moco, teriyaki, katsu, spam musubi. Oh it was just delicious. Such a perfect first stop for our family Kauai vacation. Go!

“Ono lunch!!!”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

I think I was groaning out loud while eating this food! It was that good! Definitely not for the health conscious, but hey, that is why it tastes so good! We had a daily special of baked chicken and stuffing, and the famous mixed plate (beef stew, Katsu chicken, teriyaki beef). Everything was wonderful. Some might find the chicken too salty, but that is what I loved about it. The person taking our order was super friendly. They had picnic tables outside for you to sit and eat, and even though its not very picturesque, at least it is somewhere to sit! We will definitely visit this place again.

“Ono-tastic!”
Reviewed December 21, 2013 via mobile

The star of our lunch was the ahi plate lunch. The ahi steak was really big, and cooked to perfection, with enough sear to get a cook on the outside, and still leave a yummy rare interior. You can also get a green salad instead of the usual macaroni, brown rice instead of white, both of which make for a nice change from the usual lunch plate fare. At $10.95, this was the greatest bargain on Kauai. It's a $35 restaurant entree in any fine dining restaurant.
The kahlua pork cabbage plate was more ordinary, but still nice to get the green salad & brown rice. Cheeseburger was a big hit with the boy, and we shared a yummy chocolate cream pie.
If you like ahi, go to Mark's. We drove there straight from the airport and just beat the lunch crowd. As it's a little off huge beaten path, not so many tourists, lots of locals. Outside picnic table eating area. Eat with the roosters, dine like a king!
