“Good food, poor ambiance, rather pricey.”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

Pretty standard Italian fare at high prices. Sitting out on the deck would have been nicer, but you can't see the show from there. The indoor dining room is rather dismal.

“Beautiful setting but a bit pricey”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

The setting is beautiful, with an open air view over the harbor. There was a skilled harpist playing tasteful background music as we ate. The fish dishes that we chose were very well prepared and tasty. The service was OK. The only real downside was that the prices seemed high, which we confirmed the next evening when we ate better food next door at Duke's Canoe Club, for less money.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Small restaurant, good menu, poor execution. House salad with 1 1/2 cherry tomatoes on the plate and field greens, nothing else. House vinaigrette barely detectable and what was there was bland and nearly tasteless. Main dish: Spaghetti con Marinara. Simple and basic. Delivered in a big clump in the center of the plate. Marinara sauce dry, supposedly made from fresh tomatoes but looked processed. Had to augment with olive oil from the table. Did not finish. Service was distracted at best. Felt like I was wearing a cloak of invisibility at times. Restaurant not that busy to be that distracted.

“Wonderful Pasta”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

There were 4 of us. Three had pasta, spaghetti for 2 and Alfredo for 1. All were perfectly cooked. The pasta was right at the al dente point, the sauce was thorough without being overwhelming and soup. All tasted spot on.
