“Love Duke's.”

We ate at Duke's 3 times during our visit to Kauai. We had great service during all our visits. The food is great and there's enough variety to find something that matches your mood. Don't miss the hula pie! I also really liked the salad bar.

“Highly recommend”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

It was so good, we went back on our last day. Gorgeous setting, we asked to sit on balcony when making reservations (strongly recommended) and both times they were able to accommodate us. Food was delicious, we both had fish, selection changes daily, and you have several choices of preparations. Salad bar is included and it was perfect, not too much, but sufficient to make it a great deal. Good food, good service!

“Great views and good food”
Reviewed July 15, 2014 via mobile

The upper floor overlooks the bay where dukes is. The food is good and the service was great. The ahi tuna is grilled rare with a spicy crust and served with a sweet mustard sauce giving it a nice tangy finish. Others in the party had a steak which was good and another had the Ono which is a very filling fish. My daughter had the shrimp scampi and she loved it too. So scored 4 for 4 there!

The big open airy restaurant is very nice with koa wood tables and Hawaiian fabric inspired seats on the chairs. It's big compared to other restaurants so if you are looking for something cozy kauai this is not it. But it is good food and a nice place.

“It even has a Salad Bar”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

Food is expensive in Kauai. Thank goodness for Costco. What a godsend that is. We were at the Marriott Lihue for 2 weeks and then the Marriott Waiohai for 2 weeks. Lihue has a Duke's on the premises. Best features are the style of the restaurant, the incredible views and a salad bar. I miss having those in our restaurants. How do we get them back again? Anyway, many types of fish, meat and other menu items. Have the Hula Pie. It is an experience.

“it's a classic”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

Great service, ambience, yummy food. It's a tourist place- but we are tourists so I don't mind. I found the prices reasonable for a special occasion. We went twice in our week on Kauai and both times were excellent.
