Description: On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

“Excellent experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

We reservations for 5pm and had a table at the rail of the balcony. Beautiful view. The Kushiyaki (chicken and steak) was fantastic. Service was very good. Bit pricey (but so is everything on the island) but worth the experience.

“Good drinks, food and views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

Dukes is less than 10 minutes from the airport and a great place to visit on your way to/from the island. Their mai tai's are delicious and their food can really hit the spot. Head downstairs to the bar area and enjoy relaxing views of the beach and bay with mountains in the background.

“Pricey, but oh so good.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

Probably the best prime rib I've ever had. My husband had a local seafood dish that he really loved as well. We shared a hula pie--don't try to eat it yourself unless you have a huge appetite. Very good food, good service, a bit pricey. Good view of the harbor.

“Great fish tacos and Hula pie”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

On Tuesday during happy hour they have great fish tacos at a very reasonable price. The hula pie is a huge piece of macadamia ice cream on a oreo type crust with hot fudge sauce, not to be missed if you have a sweet tooth! Recommend going early as there can be a wait on Tuesday.
Great views of the bay and very friendly service.

“nice location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2014

Hard to find fault with a beachside pub-type restaurant. Nachos were very good, but one time we were told they were gluten-free, and another time we were told they were not. Wish they could have been more precise. Nice place to grab a quick lunch and be on the beach.
