We dined upstairs in the canoe club and found it to be a large inviting restaurant. We had reservations and were seated on the perimeter where we could view the water and enjoy a nice breeze. The salad bar was not overly abundant in selection, but we found plenty of fresh choices to fill our plates with. Our waiter was pleasant, informative, and attentive. He explained his preferences on the options for preparing the fresh fish depending on which fish we chose. My wife picked monchong Duke's style, and I picked opah mac nut & herb encrusted. Both were very, very good. We finished up with the hula pie which could serve 2-4 people, and it, too, was delicious. This was not the best meal on our trip, but it was very, very good, and I would recommend it when in Lihue.
